Our B&B is located in Sarro (Zafferana Etnea), between Poggio Felice and the town entrance.
Zafferana Etnea is a historical town inside the Etna Park. It is located at about 600m above the sea level, but far few kilometers from it. The town has always been a reference point for tourists and a place of passage to reach shelters on the Mount Etna and ski resorts in Piano Provenzana.
Few kilometers away from Zafferana you can visit places where nature offers some of its wonders:
- Mount Etna with its summit craters reached by organized excursions. On its slopes it is possible practise trekking, mountanbike and in winter skiing in Piano Provenzana;
- Alcantara gorges and canyons;
- The nature reserve of Vendicari;
- The Cyclops Coast;
- The TIMPA of Acireale;
- Taormina.
You can also visit Catania, Noto, Siracusa and Taormina, cities characterised by their architecture result of several origins (Greek, Roman and Baroque) and discover the history and traces of civilization that in the course of time have created Sicily.
